From 16 participants - 8 international grand masters, 3 international masters, 4 masters FMJD, and one participant without a rank.... But with 4-th a rating on tournament - 2346 !
Tournament took place on the Swiss system in 9 rounds. As a result - at such small Amount of participants in last rounds there were problems with lotto - as in "tops", and in "bottoms".
In last round was elaborate the toss-up (this normal phenomenon for swiss-system - in Holland such pretentiousness " under the law " occurs in last two rounds) for four players who went on performance of the international ranks.
Someone has taken advantage of the chance - Ivanov, Domchev, Kudriavcev, and is not present someone - Scholma. Alas, my present clubmate Sholma, and could not confirm the status "And" in the Netherlands and him it is necessary to rank as the main losers of competition.
In general, tournament has taken place in fair, uncompromising struggle. Was not "floatable" (contractual) nobody's. All struggled.
It would be desirable to thank two basic organizers of "BaltCUP" - Kudriavcev (Valery - the "bad" person, in last round has fixed a drawn game in lost endspile 3x5 a drawn game - triple recurrence of a position (!!), having deprived with me prize-winning the fifth place....) and especially Stasytis (Vaidas - the "good" person, has lost in Penultimate round equal mittelspil - guess to whom...).
